For Your Weekend : Encouraging Reads

It’s a long weekend for many of us, and if you’re like me, days off like this always have me hoping for a few extra minutes to read.  I have several books I’m working through right now, but I still find writing on the internet to be encouraging as well.  Here are some posts I’ve gathered that I hope will bring some encouragement to you this weekend.

What “For Better or For Worse” Really Means – Marian Vischer

I Follow Close to You – Glenna Marshall

Where I Want to Be – Christine Willard

What Grown-ups Get to Do – Cynthia Stuckey

And, last but not least, a series titled Stories of Shame by my friend Heather Nelson.  Her first book, Unashamed, is releasing in just a few short weeks.  She’s writing a 10-part series on shame in preparation for the release of the book, so you’ll want to read these posts AND also pre-order a copy of her book.

Happy Weekend Reading, friends!
