Giveaway Day 4 :: Noonday Collection
When I was about 12 years old I began forming a relationship with a missionary couple who were serving in West Africa. I remember my parents inviting them into our home and eagerly listening to the stories they would tell about life in a place that was so foreign to me. They were working with blind students, and then later moved on to help with a translation of the Bible in another part of that same country. This relationship had a significant impact on my life: God used their ministry to give me a burden for the world, people who are in need of the Gospel.
This burden has continued to grow over the years. I’ve spent time visiting various parts of the world, and living in others for short periods of time. Even though I don’t live cross-culturally right now, I still have a heart for the world.
I’m super excited about today’s giveaway! Noonday Collection is a business whose mission is to “create economic opportunity for the vulnerable. We partner with artisans in the developing world, empowering them to grow sustainable businesses.” Not only are they providing jobs for people who need them, they also have adoption trunk shows and donate a portion of those sales to help fund adoptions. It’s exciting to get behind these businesses that are making a difference in the world.
My friend, Sarah, fellow military wife, Mama of five, and excellent Bible teacher, has recently become an ambassador for Noonday Collection. I met Sarah at a Bible study in our church in Georgia. Although I never got to know her as well as I would have liked, she had an impact on me through the way that she lived her life. She is a woman of faith, passionate about the Gospel, and has a big heart for people. Our Pastor once said that every time he saw her at Publix, she was always sharing the gospel with someone. That’s quite a reputation to have.
Sarah has graciously offered to give a $50 gift voucher to Noonday Collection, to one blessed winner.
Here are a few of my favorite pieces from the collection:
These Calypso Earrings are my favorite, and I’ve been eyeing them for awhile (Honey, are you reading this??). I don’t wear much jewelry, mostly just earrings, and I think these are gorgeous.
This bracelet is a great way to add color to any outfit, made in Uganda.
This necklace is made from tagua seed (a natural ivory). I think it’s gorgeous, and they also have a similar one in Teal.
They also sell bags, scarves, belts, headbands, and even some home decor. The bowls pictured below are beautiful, and would make a great centerpiece or catch-all for your jewelry, or for keys and mail in your entryway.
So, are you interested in winning $50 to purchase some of these amazing products and support a good cause in the process??
Just use the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win.
AND, Sarah said there is still time for Christmas delivery, so if you’re looking for a gift for someone, purchasing something from Noonday Collection would provide you with an incredible product and your money would help to make a difference in the world.
You’ll find instructions in the giveaway to click over to Sarah’s site and come back to tell us your favorite product. Be sure to browse around, and ladies, you might want to send this link to your husbands! They wouldn’t have to step foot in a store, and you’d be given some beautiful jewelry for Christmas!

What an awesome business giving opportunities to women in those countries. It reminds me of the bags that another missionary friend makes with women of another country. I would buy the Rubik’s Necklace, Jade. I love simple jewelry. The Taj Earrings are very pretty too.
