Signs of Spring
Spring is one of my favorite times of year. I love the signs of new life that erupt from the trees, the flower beds, and the birds that I hear chirping in the wee hours of the morning. Spring is the season for being outdoors, going around barefoot, and preparing the front porch for late night visits with friends.
Bradley’s parents were able to come down for a long weekend over Easter and we enjoyed some special times with them. Mom planted some bulbs and flowers in my beds, and discovered that I have several peonies–one of my favorite flowering plants. When you buy a house during the winter, it’s always fun to see what surprises the Spring will bring from your yard.
For some reason this winter was especially long and I waited with eager anticipation for the arrival of Spring. And even though it seemed like it took forever to arrive, it came. Just as it always does. And with it came life and hope.
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…” Eccelsiastes 3:1.
May you have a joyous Spring weekend, and may you find hope and fullness in Christ, regardless of what season of life you might be experiencing right now.

Love the ice cream bucket! We used to make ice cream like that all the time when I was a kid!

Love seeing pictures of your kids and your life! Especially love the Easter picture of your family! I also love Spring and probably have told Caleb every day for the past three weeks how happy I am to see leaves on the trees, everything in bloom, flowers popping up everywhere, etc. We did have to break down and turn on the AC last night though :/
